Within three months, she and her husband had bought five mares. Within a year, they added a stallion, Trelow Father Abraham, a Super Premium stallion imported from the UK in 1999. The premise of Toora Shires is pure love of the breed and the desire to assure its continuation. Toora’s first foal, Toora Count Strzelecki, sired by Arclid Adonis, was born in 2006. In 2008, Toora Shires second and third colts, Toora Oberon Star and Toora Abraham Anser, both sired by Trelow Father Abraham were born.
